Join our dynamic team and make a meaningful impact by delivering high-quality products that resonate with clients.As a Program Manager in Asset and Wealth Management, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. You will effectively drive cross-product line, cross-functional coordination, operate model integration, manage dependencies, risks, and lead program-level roadmap execution with a high degree of transparency. In addition, you will enable effective program management practices within the function by designing, implementing, and continuously improving the framework to deliver on 55ip's product vision and roadmap.
Job responsibilities
- Builds, scales, and maintains programs that drive strategic priorities from ideation to implementation, through strong program management principles, hands-on leadership and effective change management.
- Develops strong executive, peer and stakeholder relationships, maintaining effective communication channels; partner across functions to support leadership and motivate teams to take action and drive programs to completion.
- Promotes thought leadership for new ideas and new ways of executing product/operational initiatives (through effective Agile and project/program management best practices).
- Exhibits excellent judgement on analyzing and solving sensitive cross-functional issues, fostering collaboration between sub-teams and with stakeholders.
- Drives meetings with key cross-functional stakeholders for each program to help make key decisions, remove obstacles, and address key program issues or risks.
- Manages timelines and provide visibility to program status (issues, risks, metrics, etc.) on an ongoing basis through proactive status reporting (to all stakeholders, team members, and interested parties).
- Drives identification and management of "program/feature" dependencies and program/delivery risks across multiple teams and stakeholders; manage obstacles and risks that slow down or prevent teams from delivering on project goals.
- Collaborates with Product Managers to review existing processes/practices and build or enhance processes/practices in line with Agile principles and best practices.
- Leverages analytical skills, and collaboration with others, to design, implement and maintain dashboards and reporting that provide actionable insights and feedback to product and engineering teams and leaders.
- Drives the execution of the product roadmap with a sense of urgency.
- Collaborates with product managers and technology leads on end-to-end product delivery processes including intake, dependency management, release management, product operationalization, delivery feasibility decision-making, and product performance reporting; escalate opportunities to improve efficiencies and functional coordination. liability
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
- Possess excellent analytical & problem-solving skills and is detail oriented.
- Demonstrated track-record of driving incremental improvements and self-motivated to acquire relevant business acumen, technical knowledge, best practices and new skills.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to independently manage multiple priorities and associated risks, navigate ambiguous problems, align stakeholders, and hold collaborators accountable for deliverables.
- Outstanding organizational, communication, and relationship building skills conducive to driving alignment; ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, matrix environment.
- Demonstrated ability to execute operational management, change management activities and continuously manage competing priorities to drive impact.
- Ability to drive and collaborate in solutioning complex problems (e.g., effectively framing problem statement, identifying/sharing relevant information, clarifying options, etc.).
- Strong understanding of product delivery and a proven track record of implementing continuous improvement processes.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Prior product or related experience in the context of investment management product solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clear and concise with a wide range of audiences, including senior executive stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
- Experience with Agile software development lifecycle. Strong knowledge of tools that support effective Agile practices, such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Experience with planning tools such as Monday.com, Asana, MD Project, or others.
- Experience in product or platform-wide release management, in addition to deployment processes and strategies.
- Flexible to optimize collaboration with technology organization, product users and stakeholders in the US during overlapping working hours.
