Job Title: Regional Product Manager - Oil and Gas, Middle East & Africa
Industry: Specialty Chemicals / Water Treatment / Industrial Applications
Location: Dubai & Africa (Flexible location - Solenis office or home-based)
Travel: Up to 30%
About the Role
Solenis is seeking a strategic and commercially driven Regional Product Manager to lead its Oil & Gas product portfolio across the Middle East and Africa. In this regional leadership role, you will drive product portfolio optimization, pricing execution, supply strategy, and commercial support for one of our most dynamic and high-impact sectors.
This is a highly visible role with regional ownership and responsibility for aligning product strategy with business growth goals, partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, Regulatory, R&D, and Global Product Leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Optimize and rationalize the regional Oil & Gas product portfolio to improve market competitiveness and profitability
- Own pricing execution in the region, including list and target prices, while supporting strategic pricing decisions for new and existing products
- Collaborate with Supply Chain and Procurement to optimize manufacturing and sourcing strategy across regional assets
- Partner with the Sales team to support key commercial opportunities, proposal development, and customer engagements
- Contribute to segment prioritization and support the development and commercialization of new products aligned with growth strategies
- Support product lifecycle execution, demand forecasting, and pricing discipline in alignment with global and regional objectives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field such as Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related discipline
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in chemicals used in Oil & Gas applications, including exposure to pricing strategy and commercial decision-making
- Experience in product management, technical sales, or application engineering within the MEA region preferred
Skills and Attributes
- Strong commercial and strategic thinking with a track record of driving profitable growth
- Deep understanding of industry trends, customer requirements, and competitive positioning in Oil & Gas chemicals
- Ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders at multiple levels
- Comfortable working in a matrixed, fast-paced global environment
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in using financial and decision-support tools to analyze business performance and identify improvement opportunities
