Position Summary
The Product Manager is responsible for the planning, development, and delivery of software products. This role involves understanding customer needs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, defining product roadmaps, and ensuring that the product meets market demands and business objectives. The Product Manager acts as the central point of contact for the product’s lifecycle, from ideation to launch, and ensures successful delivery by managing timelines, resources, and stakeholder expectations.
Responsibilities
- Define product vision and strategy in alignment with company objectives and customer needs.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to deliver successful product features and releases.
- Develop and maintain a detailed product roadmap, prioritizing features based on customer feedback, business goals, and technical feasibility.
- Gather and analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to make informed product decisions.
- Write detailed product requirements and user stories to guide development.
- Conduct market research and customer interviews to define product features and functionality.
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring successful product releases.
- Work with engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of product features and bug fixes.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and customer satisfaction.
- Manage stakeholder communications and expectations, including updates on timelines, features, and product performance.
- Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience.
- Coordinate product launches with marketing and sales teams to ensure a smooth go-to-market strategy.
- Continuously monitor product performance and iterate based on data and user feedback.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- 3-5 years of experience in product management, preferably with software products.
- Strong understanding of software development processes (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
- Proven track record of launching successful software products from inception to release.
- Experience working closely with engineering teams to define and deliver product features.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret data to inform product decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Aha!).
Preferred Skills
- Experience with specific technologies or platforms relevant to the company’s product (e.g., cloud, AI, SaaS).
- Background in UX/UI design or experience working closely with design teams.
- Familiarity with A/B testing and other methods for validating product decisions.
- Experience with product analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel).
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and quality assurance processes.
- Understanding of competitive products and market trends.
- Ability to manage and balance the needs of various stakeholders, including customers, sales, and engineering teams.
- Experience with customer-facing roles and understanding of user-centric design.
Physical Requirements & Compensation
Veoci offers remote work flexibility. The wage range for this role is $100,000 - $160,000 plus benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
