eleQtron entwickelt und betreibt Quantencomputer mit einzelnen gespeicherten Ionen als Qubits. Quantencomputer nutzen ein neues Paradigma der Informationsverarbeitung, das sich rasch der Marktreife nähert. Unser einzigartiger Ansatz kombiniert lasergekühlte gespeicherte Ionen mit der Steuerung aller Rechenoperationen über Mikrowellen und maßgeschneiderten Magnetfeldern. Unsere jetzt in der Entwicklung befindlichen Rechenmaschinen werden in der Lage sein, Lösungen für Probleme zu finden, die heute noch unlösbar sind. So ermöglichen Quantencomputer sowohl innovative Produkte und Dienstleistungen als auch neue Einsichten in verschiedensten Bereichen der Wissenschaft für eine bessere Zukunft.

Dafür suchen wir ab sofort einen Produkt Manager (m/w/d).

Was Dich erwartet:Als Produktmanager (m/w/d) definierst und verantwortest du die Produktvision, -strategie und -roadmap für unsere Ionenfallen-Quantencomputersysteme. Du schlägst die Brücke zwischen tiefgehender technischer Expertise mit Markt- und Kundenperspektive und treibst die Entwicklung von unseren Full-Stack-Quantencomputer vom Forschungsprototypen hin zu marktrelevanten Produkten aktiv voran. Dabei arbeitest du eng mit Engineering, R&D, Operations und Commercial Teams zusammen und übersetzt technologische Möglichkeiten in klare Produktentscheidungen.

• Verantwortung für die Definition und Weiterentwicklung des Produktscopes, Roadmap und der Prioritäten für Full-Stack-Quantencomputersysteme
• Übersetzung von Inputs aus verschiedenen technischen und nicht-technischen Teams in kohärente Produktanforderungen und Entscheidungsgrundlagen
• Abwägung technischer Machbarkeit, Systemperformance und langfristiger Skalierbarkeit bei produktrelevanten Entscheidungen
• Aufbau eines strukturierten Verständnisses von Kundenbedürfnissen, Anwendungsfällen und Erwartungen des Quanten-Ökosystems
• Koordination zwischen R&D, Engineering, Operations und kommerziellen Teams zur Sicherstellung von Ziel-, Zeit- und Prioritätenabstimmung
• Unterstützung der externen Kommunikation durch klare technische Narrative, Dokumentation und Produktpositionierung
• Nachverfolgung der Systemreife und Rückführung der gewonnenen Erkenntnisse in Entwicklungs- und Planungszyklen

Required skills:

• Degree in physics, engineering, computer science, or a related technical field
• 5+ years of experience in product management, ideally in hardware-centric or deep-tech environments
• Experience working closely with R&D and engineering teams on complex technical products
• Proven ability to define product requirements, roadmaps, and prioritization frameworks
• Strong system-level thinking, with the ability to evaluate trade-offs across hardware, control systems, and firmware
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience interacting with customers, partners, or early adopters in emerging technology markets
• Structured, analytical working style with strong ownership and execution focus
• Fluent English and German

Nice-to-have:

• Background in quantum computing or related quantum technologies
• Experience in hardware productization, scaling, or transition from R&D to production Exposure to ecosystem development, partnerships, or market-building in emerging technology domains
