Description
We are seeking a Product Manager with strong technical and business analysis expertise to define requirements and drive the modernization of the application's client-facing APIs.You will collaborate with a dedicated development team to shape API strategy, enabling streamlined integration, API management, and monetization. Responsibilities
- Define API requirements aligned with project goals
- Collaborate with technical and product teams to modernize API architecture
- Analyze current API implementations and plan migration to REST
- Coordinate API decoupling from existing product architecture
- Establish API monetization strategies and usage policies
- Ensure AWS-hosted multi-tenant API readiness
- Drive elimination of outdated integrations like ODBC
- Facilitate extension of integration capabilities for core applications
- Support API management capabilities for control and analytics
- Oversee technical documentation for API usage
- Partner with engineering on infrastructure design and IaC adoption
Requirements
- 1+ years experience in product management with APIs and integrations
- Proven background in Amazon Web Services configuration and management
- Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD pipeline development
- Experience with Message Brokers (MQ) such as Kafka
- Strong understanding of microservice architecture style
- Proficiency with Scrum methodology
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced English proficiency (CEFR C1 - Advanced)
Nice to have
- Proficiency with API Gateway configuration
- Experience with load balancing tools such as AWS ALB
- Knowledge of observability tools for distributed systems
- Ability to troubleshoot complex distributed environments
- Familiarity with AWS CDK for infrastructure automation
