Join a global asset management firm specializing in alternative investments, including Private Equity (PE) and Private Debt. As a Private Wealth Sales Associate, you will be part of the sales team covering large distribution partners in Japan.

This role offers a unique opportunity to engage in the growing private wealth business within the alternatives space. Even if you do not have direct alternatives experience, ambitious and talented bilingual finance professionals are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities

• Drive institutional and private wealth sales activities targeting major distribution firms (B2B, not B2C retail).
• Promote alternative investment products including Private Equity and Private Debt solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with sales-side partners and financial institutions.
• Collaborate with internal global teams to support product positioning and client engagement strategies.
• Provide market insights and contribute to expanding the firm's presence in Japan's private wealth sector.

Required Skills and Qualifications Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the financial services industry (candidates from IBD, securities sales, or sell-side roles are welcome).
• Bachelor's degree required.

Soft Skills:

• Strong sales capability and relationship-building skills.
• High motivation and ability to thrive in a performance-driven environment.
• Interest in alternative investments and asset management.

Language Requirements:

• Japanese: Native level
• English: Intermediate to Business level (bilingual proficiency preferred)

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of alternative investment products (PE, Private Debt, etc.).
• Professional certifications such as CMA or CFA are highly regarded.
