| Required License/Registration/Certification | Nationally certified Pharmacy Technician by either PTCB (PTCE) or NHA (ExCPT); Registered with the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire. |

| Job Summary | This position is responsible to review charge control processes for UK Healthcare Inpatient Pharmacy services and ensure compliance between doses and charges for drugs and pharmaceutical supplies. This position requires prior computer knowledge and multi-system knowledge, including Epic, wholesaler interfaces, Pyxis system, and SAP. Pharmacy expertise with pharmacy billing and drug knowledge to comprehend clinical documentation and interpret dosage requirements to ensure accuracy of pharmaceutical billing is also required for quality control assurance. This position is also responsible for processing invoices, working with UKHC accounting for proper vendor payment, and working with vendors to address contract vs. payment discrepancies, which can include requesting credit/rebills. In addition to daily duties, projects of varying time horizons will be assigned as needed. There is an internal candidate being considered. This is a remote position. |
| Skills / Knowledge / Abilities | Experience utilizing the following: Cardinal Order Express, Epic, SAP, Pyxis Software, Microsoft Suite of Products. |
