Come and Grow with a Leader in the Industry… PumpMan has an exciting opportunity for an Outside Sales Representative to join our team in Denver, CO.
Responsibilities:
Grow the direct Commercial & Industrial sales market (pumps, aftermarket, and service)
Prospecting on local businesses for replacement, maintenance, and service projects
Call on building managers, maintenance managers, and maintenance personnel.
Attend trade shows to promote our business
Follow-up on incoming sales & service leads
Maintain relationship with customers, providing ongoing sales support and handling service issues
Regular study product offering, types of equipment, and service capabilities
Constantly work to gain knowledge on competitors and their equipment.
Business to Business Cold Calling
Requirements
High School or Trade School Diploma
Must have a minimum of 1+ years of proven sales experience and success with pumps, motors, and equipment in the water & wastewater industry
Technical Training School or experience in electrical/mechanical trade
Proficiency and aptitude to understand mechanical equipment and mechanical work
Diagnose problems and determine appropriate action for sales or service opportunities
Read, interpret, and work from sketches, books, blueprints, and specifications.
Commitment to quality workmanship and doing the job right the first time
Knowledge of Electrical and control circuits
Excellent attitude and customer orientation
Strong analytical skills and proficient computer skills
Ability to work independently and work extended hours as needed
Reside near company location and willingness to travel within client territory
Must have a valid driver’s license
