Overview

Governors Towne Club has an opportunity for a year round supervisor in our outside golf services. Opportunities to help teach junior golf camps (weather permitting) also exist for those with golf experience.

Governors Towne Club is an exclusive Golf and Country Club located in Acworth, GA, about 45 minutes from downtown Atlanta. The centerpiece of this gated country club community is a world class 18 hole golf course designed by two-time U.S. Open champion Curtis Strange.

Governors Towne club offers amenities for the whole family including a full-service Clubhouse, Day Spa, Tennis & Aquatic facilities and a social calendar full of diverse and exciting events.

Applicants must have a driver's license to perform the necessary duties. The successful applicant will provide personalized member experience to our members and be responsible for all services involved with our fleet of golf carts, members' golf clubs and the practice facilities. As a team leader you will set the standard of engagement with members and their guests.

Ideally, our candidates will have the desire to provide professional unreasonable hospitality with a good knowledge of the game. Experience is preferred but we will provide training for those people with a strong work ethic, initiative and willingness to learn quickly. An outgoing personality will prosper in this environment.

Experience Required

• Strong hospitality skills with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for golf and a basic understanding of golf etiquette (experience is a plus but not required).
• Team player mentality with the ability to work collaboratively.
• A commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Greeting and assisting members and guests with a warm and friendly demeanor.

Essential Responsibilities

• Supervise outside operations team & perform outside operations duties as needed.
• Manage scheduling of team.
• Manage inventory of golf supplies.
• Coordinate Maintenance & Repair of department equipment.
• Manage Practice Facility operations.
• Golf cart fleet management.
• Manage starting times.
• Represent Governors Towne Club in a professional manner both on & off the property.
• Managing golf carts, clubs, and equipment efficiently and ensuring they are in excellent condition.
• Providing exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and fulfilling requests promptly.
• Assisting with bag drop-off and pick-up services.
• Maintaining a clean and organized outside services area.
• Collaborating with fellow team members to ensure smooth operations.
