POSITION SUMMARY
The Reva and David Logan Foundation seeks a highly motivated, resourceful self-starter to join its small staff as a full-time Office Administrator. This position will provide critical administrative and operational support. The successful candidate will be pivotal in positively changing outcomes for individuals and organizations around the world. This position will be required to work in-person five days a week at our Uptown office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform day-to-day office operations, such as:
- Maintaining a welcoming and productive office environment
- Ordering/organizing office supplies and materials
- Filing paperwork
- Mailing and shipping
- Coordinating building access for contractors, staff, and guests
- Working with and scheduling building vendors
- Act as a primary information contact for public inquiries and information requests and redirect inquiries and requests as appropriate
- Update the Foundation’s internal and public calendars
- Provide administrative support to colleagues by taking notes at meetings, tracking project progress, and other duties as appropriate
- Assist with production of events such as board meetings and networking events
- Provide support and coordination of specific tasks for special projects or programs
- Support the communications team with social media, graphic design, and other duties as appropriate
- Such other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to work in-person and regularly lift up to 20 pounds
- Strong typing and computer skills, with required proficiency in MacOS, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to balance competing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Highly organized. Works well under minimal supervision by taking initiative, ensuring successful project management, and timely completion of all tasks
- Ease in producing quality work in a high-production environment
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with great attention to detail
- Creates positive, long-term working relationships by demonstrating a commitment to tact, dependability, diplomacy, and flexibility
Previous experience with graphic design and social media skills is favorable. Familiarity with using WordPress, Canva, newsletter software or similar systems is also a plus.
COMPENSATION
Salary for the Office Administrator includes a competitive base salary starting in excess $50,000, depending on qualifications and experience. Benefits include employer-paid health and dental insurance and generous paid leave.
