The NIH has recently selected Fred Hutch as the coordinating center (CC) for a new multi-site national study: Multiethnic Observational Study in American Asian and Pacific Islander Communities (MOSAAIC). The objective of this national effort is to provide scientific, statistical, and cultural expertise and coordination support to establish a population-based cohort focusing on Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders, studying health conditions and disease burden that are unique and common for this population.
MOSAAIC is seeking an experienced full-time Administrative Coordinator I. The Administrative Coordinator I is responsible for providing administrative support for the various MOSAAIC Committees. The incumbent works in a team under minimal supervision and is expected to use initiative and sound judgment in performing complex duties within the framework of the MOSAAIC policies and procedures, and as directed by the MOSAAIC Project Director, Investigators, and Committee Chairs.

Responsibilities
- Primary duties will be to provide administrative support to the Community Outreach and Engagement Committee (COE) and Performance Monitoring Committee (PMC) in addition to other Committees.
- Preparation and maintenance of documentation for various study committees.
- Coordinate monthly conference calls for investigators and staff, including maintaining committee pages, creating and updating agendas, meeting minutes, and scheduling meetings.
- Monitor committee inboxes, serve as a central point of contact to triage or answer questions and resolve problems, act as a liaison with CC staff and outside individuals/organizations, escalating issues.
- Communicate issues with staff and Committee investigators, across the United States in different time zones and regions.
- Design website, newsletter, and other related study documents.
- Maintain and regularly update study social media presence.
- Take part in developing and maintaining new procedures and tracking systems.
- Perform other special and routine administrative tasks and projects as needed, including providing backup support for other unit members.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Requires High School/GED and five years of administrative or relevant experience OR equivalent education/experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Work and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, from investigators to front-line staff.
- Predictable and dependable attendance.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Teams, Adobe Suite, and other virtual platforms.
- Ability to tailor communications to specific audiences.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-moving, dynamic environment.
- Exhibit excellent dependability, flexibility in dealing with changing priorities, and ability to meet commitments/deadlines consistently.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of the team.
- Interest in public health research, specifically as it relates to the MOSAAIC participant demographic.
- Experience working with sites/community outreach and engagement operations.
- Experience with Canva and Figma.
- Experience with website and newsletter design.
- Experience managing business social media accounts.
The hourly pay range for this position is from $31.26 to $44.51 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
This role will have the opportunity to work partially at our campus and remotely.
This position is not eligible for H1-B sponsorship at this time.
