CVS Health has an exciting opportunity in Wilkes-Barre, PA for a Materials Coordinator to be a part of our Mail Order Pharmacy team! The Materials Coordinator is essential to ensuring patients receive their medications in a timely manner. As part of the team, you will have an important, uniquely rewarding role putting your skills and experience to work in a closed-door pharmacy setting. You will make a difference by exceling in a complex, high impact dispensing role and positively impacting the lives of others. You will work alongside a team of talented individuals in a concerted team effort and under the direct supervision of Lead Technicians and Pharmacy Supervisors. The ideal candidate will possess high levels of reliability, accuracy, professionalism, team orientation, and problem-solving skills.
As a Materials Coordinator working in the pharmacy, you get to perform a variety of roles including but not limited to retrieving product from the warehouse, replenishing the product on the stock shelves, processing orders that are Awaiting Acceptance in the system (AWACC) and supporting pharmacy product requests. Your responsibilities will also include processing damaged product, Return to Stock items, and processing credit worthy and non-credit worthy products. In this role, you will handle product recalls, stock transfers, and successfully process escalated and aged orders. A successful Materials Coordinator in the Materials Department will need to be very detailed oriented, confident in their math skills, and possess great computer skills.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Be an internal resource to other departments regarding inventory concerns.
- Create effective update communications utilizing multiple communication methods.
- Effectively utilize multiple software platforms during the business day.
- Be able to effectively multitask, prioritize tasks, and adjust priorities based on business needs.
Schedule:
- Monday 3 pm to 1:30 am
- Tuesday 3 pm to 1:30 am
- Thursday 3 pm to 1:30 am
- Friday 3 pm to 1:30 am
Required Qualifications:
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Work mandatory overtime/extended work week, when needed
- Be in good standing in current role
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of old orders, pharmaceutical drug names, NDC system and SAP.
- Formal Pharmacy Technician training and/or experience
- Experience in medical, fulfillment center, warehouse or healthcare environments
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team
Education
- Verifiable High School diploma or GED

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$17.00 - $28.46
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
