Position Description
Title: Marketing Intern
Location: Murrieta, CA
Hourly Rate: $22.00 to $24.00
The Marketing Intern will support the company's growing marketing and communications efforts through content creation, digital engagement, and brand development tasks. This role is ideal for a motivated student looking to apply their academic training in a real-world environment while building a diverse professional portfolio.
Education & Background Requirements
Candidates should be actively pursuing a degree, certification, or formal training in one or more of the following areas:
- Traditional Marketing/Digital Marketing/Social Media Marketing
- Graphic Design/Desktop Publishing
- Videography
- Creative Writing or Communications
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in producing visual and written content for internal and external marketing initiatives.
- Support graphic design needs such as info graphics, flyers, presentation decks, and brand-aligned visual concepts.
- Capture and organize photos for marketing, project documentation, and digital media.
- Conduct research and catalog project information, marketing assets, and industry insights.
- Draft clear and engaging marketing copy
- Assist with social media scheduling, engagement monitoring, and analytics reporting.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent branding and professional communication.
- Provide general administrative support to the marketing department as needed to include mailings.
Preferred Skills & Qualities
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite).
- Strong photography or basic photo-editing skills.
- Solid research, organization, and cataloging abilities.
- Clear and concise writing skills with attention to tone and detail.
- Professional communication skills—both verbal and written.
- Practical judgment, reliability, and strong common sense.
- Teachable, curious, and eager to learn from a fast-paced team environment.
