Position Overview:
The Temporary Full-Time HR Coordinator assists the human resources team with file maintenance; general duties related to human resources. plays a key role in supporting the full employee life cycle, including onboarding, offboarding, HR administration, and compliance. This position ensures accurate employee records, assists with benefits and payroll coordination, and provides exceptional service to employees and managers. This role is operational and coordination-focused, not a strategic HR leadership or employee relations role. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, discreet, and experienced in managing HR workflows for small, growing organizations.
Essential Job Functions:
Incumbent must have the skills, abilities and judgment to perform the following essential job duties and responsibilities, with or without reasonable accommodation:
Maintain accurate employee records in support of HRIS implementation; ensure compliance with federal and state documentation requirements.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential employee files.
Ensure all required employment documentation is completed, stored securely, and compliant with internal policies.
Maintain and order HR supplies.
Supports onboarding and offboarding processes, meetings and training by maintaining a readily available stock of required materials or providing support as needed.
Organizes and maintains office key and building badge access program.
Assist with benefits administration in collaboration with vendors and internal teams.
Support employee relations by responding to inquiries and providing guidance on HR policies and processes.
Assist with audits and compliance tracking.
Maintains the key and badge process and inventory.
Provide administrative assistance to the HR Director as needed.
Provide general administrative support to the HR team.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
2–4 years of full-time HR administrative or coordination experience.
Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced environment and able to work with indirect supervision while delivering assigned tasks and meeting expectations.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Working knowledge of HR principles, practices, and systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and VISIO.
Experience with HRIS and applicant tracking systems.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, follow-up and follow through skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Familiarity with state and federal labor laws.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Working knowledge of employment documentation and compliance requirements.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to manage and maintain confidential information.
Ability to work independently and manage recurring deadlines.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Authorization to work in the United States, sponsorship is not available.

Must be a collaborative team player willing to help co-workers when asked.
Possess strong interpersonal skills to effectively work with a variety of different personalities.
Must be able to make sound recommendations that improve processes.
Experience maintaining employee records, coordinating payroll and benefits.
