Description
Are you interested in hedge funds and looking to accelerate your career in a dynamic, client-focused environment? As part of our Capital Advisory Group, you will connect with leading hedge fund managers and institutional investors, gaining exposure to the evolving world of alternative investments. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills, collaborate with industry leaders, and build a deep and broad network across the industry.In this strategic, client-facing role, you'll support hedge funds on fundraising, market positioning, and business development by analyzing and articulating industry trends using qualitative and quantitative data. You'll engage frequently with hedge funds and institutional investors (endowments, foundations, family offices, private banks, pensions), contribute to content pieces highlighting the latest trends in the industry, help facilitate targeted introductions and maintain our internal and external facing digital platforms.
Job responsibilities
- Assist with coverage of hedge fund clients and global institutional investors, attending meetings and managing follow-ups.
- Support planning and execution of Capital Advisory Group events, from global conferences to local meetings.
- Maintain and update internal databases, including our CRM and external facing capital introduction platform.
- Contribute to the production of various content pieces for the team, whether for specific clients, or industry thought leadership pieces to be published externally.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Acute attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to adapt to both internal and external audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to analyse data from multiple sources, both qualitative and quantitative.
- Bachelor's degree
This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
