Field Organizer — Los Angeles Mayoral Race
Help elect Adam Miller as the next Mayor of Los Angeles!
The Adam Miller for LA Mayor Campaign is seeking full-time Field Organizers for an aggressive volunteer field operation. Los Angeles is one of the largest and most dynamic cities in the country, and the 2026 mayoral race represents one of the most consequential elections in the city’s history. Field Organizers will be on the ground in LA immediately and play a central role in building the grassroots infrastructure needed to win.
Field Organizers are primarily responsible for recruiting, training, and managing volunteers for direct voter contact activities. This is a metrics-driven role with daily accountability. Those who excel in this role will be well-positioned for campaign leadership opportunities in 2026 and beyond.
Compensation
$3,500/month plus benefits. Position begins ASAP — candidates must be available to work on the ground in Los Angeles immediately.
Requirements
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Recruiting, training, and managing volunteers to participate in direct voter contact activities — primarily canvassing and phone banking.
- Making a minimum of 200 volunteer recruitment calls per day and meeting strict daily, weekly, and monthly goals including volunteer shift recruitment, shift completion, and volunteer productivity.
- Preparing all canvass and call materials for volunteer activities.
- Adhering to a daily reporting schedule and chain of command.
- Managing the campaign’s voter contact platforms for canvassing, phone banking, and text banks.
- Representing the campaign at community events and meetings when advised by the campaign.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to successfully relate to voters and volunteers from a wide range of backgrounds.
- Must be available to work on the ground in Los Angeles immediately (ASAP start required).
- Ability to work independently and in team settings.
- Ability to work long and irregular hours in a fast-paced, metrics-driven work environment.
- Experience working in or around Los Angeles is a plus, but not required.
- History or experience working in a multi-ethnic and multi-racial environment is a plus; Los Angeles is one of the most diverse cities in the world.
- Basic computer literacy, database skills, and access to a reliable portable computer.
- Reliable access to a vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
- One year of campaign experience or community organizing experience preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of PDI preferred but not required.
