Please note, this is a full time onsite role - you will be asked to report to our location in San Antonio, TX.
Maximus is currently hiring a Facilities Coordinator to join our Health Texas Eligibility Support team in San Antonio, Texas! This position is responsible for supporting our Health Texas project office by providing professional office maintenance and facilities services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan, justify and coordinate job and work orders, schedules and projects for repair, alterations, cleaning, and equipment installation, considering prioritization for those which are considered of urgent or high value
- Coordinate preventive maintenance, repair, and construction work to sustain safe and reliable operations
- Monitor, track and provide administrative and support activities utilizing appropriate data management systems or web-based interfaces to enable processes, training, and documentation developed for safety, fire prevention, security, and emergency response
- Attend meetings and working groups, and coordinate with various personnel and agencies, to accomplish facility work and logistics efforts
- Manage Facility Management SharePoint site and update site with key information (e.g., shuttle time changes, building notices, etc.)
- Collect, act upon and resolve service requests, furniture projects, and other facility work orders
- Monitor eMaintenance Facilities Work Order System
- Schedule, process, and complete work orders for building repairs and preventive maintenance of critical systems
- Coordinate with outside contractors/vendors to schedule building repairs and preventive maintenance
- Research issues, recommend preventative measures and participate in the development of changes
- Responsible for equipment and material inventory and storage, to include furniture, technical equipment, and office supplies
- Ensure employee common areas, including copy rooms and break areas are fully stocked and organized
- Handson maintenance tasks such as drywall patching, unclogging toilets, painting touchups, and other general repairs
- Able to move boxes/material not to exceed 50lbs when receiving shipments from various vendors and or suppliers or preparing equipment to be shipped back to vendors or other sites
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required and 0-2 years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least one (1) year of related experience in facility maintenance preferred
- Capable of critical thinking and ability to resolve basic building related issues
- Works on assignments that are routine in nature, with responsibilities easily learned on the job
- Acquires job skills and learns applicable policies and procedures to complete routine tasks
- Able to read, understand & perform assignments within prescribed guidelines
- Ability to communicate routine information in a clear and accurate way with internal & external contacts
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment
- Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently
- Must be willing to travel to other sites, as needed, in extenuating circumstances to support facilities team
- Ability to work 8-hour shift Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.- Must reside within Texas
- Must live within 70 miles of site: San Antonio, TX
Additional Requirements for Internal employees:
- Must be meeting departmental metrics in adherence and quality
- Must have less than 16 attendance points
- Must not be on an active DA above a verbal warning
- Must be in current position at least 6 months
