Description
The Tennessee State Museum is seeking a professional to assist in the design, coordination, and installation of exhibitions and related gallery spaces. Under direct supervision, the Exhibit Coordinator supports the planning, preparation, and development of both on-site and traveling exhibitions. This position assists with exhibition design concepts, fabrication, installation, and documentation; manages vendor coordination, scheduling, and project records; and ensures adherence to museum and state policies for safety, quality, and collections care.
The salary range for this position is $3,631-$4,533 monthly, plus state benefits.
This position is located in Davidson County.

Requirements
In this role, you’ll:
- Assist with the design, preparation, and installation of on-site and traveling exhibitions
- Coordinate schedules, budgets, and vendor communications for exhibition projects
- Support the fabrication of graphics, labels, and display casework
- Help maintain gallery lighting, exhibition technology, and casework
- Ensure adherence to museum standards for safety and artifact care
