Responsibilities
This is a full-time remote position. Must be located in Maryland, Virginia, or Washington, D.C.
We are seeking a highly motivated Territory Field Sales Representative to drive growth by building strong relationships with collision repair customers and helping them adopt the full suite of Mitchell Collision Repair solutions. The ideal customer will be any collision repair shops, body shops or Dealerships with a dedicated collision repair facility. Our solutions focus on—though are not limited to—estimating, shop management, and diagnostic/calibration systems delivered through our partnership with Bosch.
In this field-based role, you, and your dedicated Inside Sales partner, will manage a defined territory spanning Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware, Western Pennsylvania, Western New York, and Washington, D.C. Together, you will own the sales cycle from prospecting to close while collaborating cross functionally to deliver exceptional customer experience. The two of you both contribute towards a shared sales target (quota) and earn commissions based on your level of achievement towards that sales target. There are no limits on the commissions you can earn. This role requires 4050% travel, primarily within the territory by car. Additional responsibilities include:
- Previous experience selling CCC, Autdatex, AsTech, Repairify, Autel or other industry related companies is a plus.
- Manage and grow a defined territory by developing new business and expanding relationships with existing customers.
- Prospect, qualify, and build a sales pipeline; plan daily/weekly activities to meet territory and individual goals.
- Conduct customer meetings, product demonstrations, and presentations to communicate value and solve customer needs.
- Develop proposals and move opportunities through the sales cycle to close, meet or exceed assigned targets.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels within collision repair organizations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support implementation, customer success, and ongoing account needs.
- Develop and execute a business/territory plan to maximize opportunities to achieve sales targets and key objectives.
- Provide regular forecasts for his/her assigned territory.
- Negotiate and close new business.
- Present a meaningful ROI to the customer by understanding the customer's priorities, competitors, industry trends, and positioning Mitchell's solutions and capabilities to them.
- Provide consultative services, conduct demonstrations, and keep customers informed of new releases.
- Track the progress and status of your customers on an on-going basis to ensure customer satisfaction and ensure that committed schedules are met.
- Represent the business professionally in the field, acting as the primary point of contact for customers in the territory.
- Travel 4050% within the assigned territory to meet with customers and prospects.
- Participate in ongoing product and sales training to stay current on offerings and market dynamics.
- Provide feedback from the field to help improve processes, messaging, and customer experience.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college a plus.35 years of experience in automotive, collision repair, or a related field environment; field sales experience preferred.Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.Strong consultative selling, customer relationship management, and territory management skills.Ability to reframe challenges, identify solutions, and navigate objections with professionalism and confidence.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and comfort working in CRM and other business systems.Ability to travel locally within the assigned territory approximately 4050% of the time, primarily driving to customer sites.Valid driver's license and ability to successfully complete a motor vehicle record (MVR) check.
