Mission of the Role
We are looking for a motivated and business-savvy individual to join our team and drive growth - commercial and technical. This is a hybrid role. The candidate will be involved in both business development (sales) and project management (internal technical coordination and external client-facing relationship). The exact distribution of each is fluid based on priorities of the company and may vary over time.
This role requires adaptability, comfort with ambiguity, proactive communication, an eagerness to learn, and a collaborative mindset.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of our technology (e.g. system architecture, how it works, capabilities and limitations, etc.) and current client projects to quickly come "up to speed".
- The candidate is expected to prepare detailed proposals and prospect for potential clients. This will entail creation of PowerPoint presentations explaining our company and capabilities, as well as technical proposals showcasing proposed milestones for development, timeline, and cost. This will include client visits to help progress the sales process. Once the client has agreed to the proposal, the candidate will be responsible for executing and managing the (internal/external) project to deliver promised deliverables to the client. The candidate is responsible for owning and managing the entire process from prospecting -> sales -> project execution.
- In parallel, one of the anticipated priorities will involve managing an internal project for development of a new product. This will require close collaboration with engineers and management stakeholders to define and manage the development schedule, roadmap, resolve bottlenecks, etc.
- Assist with day-to-day operational and project management tasks to support senior colleagues achieve the team's business critical targets.
- Update project JIRA boards to track status of activities and updates.
- Collaborate across internal teams to align processes, streamline communication, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Support the business team in customer meetings by taking notes, tracking progress, and identifying ongoing support needs.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in either sales or project management
- Exceptional command of English, both written and spoken.
- Fluent in Korean (non-native is okay).
- Excellent business communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly across diverse audiences.
- Keen interest to learn, explore, and grasp technical topics related to autonomous driving.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn new technologies and industry trends.
- Strong time management and organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to adapt quickly to evolving project requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience living, studying, or working abroad.
- 3+ years of experience in client-facing or customer engagement roles.
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Creative thinker with a track record of delivering unique insights and high-quality results.
