We are currently working on our vision to bring our students the best possible career opportunities. Help us plan and execute this vision by sourcing and building relationships between ASA and student organizations, university students, and recent graduates who could benefit from ASA's coaching and job board services.

Responsibilities:
- Identify, build, and maintain relationships with hiring employers, non-profits, and academic institutions who would be a good fit for our diversity-driven job board with the following goals:
- Increase number of employers who pay for job postings on our job board
- Promote other job board services, such as banner space advertisements for employers and academic programs to highlight themselves
- Document, qualify, and organize all potential and current clients using a sales tracking system
- With guidance of CEO and/or COO, formulate sales goals and reflect on metrics throughout the internship
- In conjunction with other business development intern and CEO or COO, oversee our job board by working with our job board vendor company on any issues that may arise
- Proactive in promoting ASA coaching and job board services during networking events/environments (online and offline)
- Attend meetings and events when needed (ASA will reimburse you for any required travel)
- Respond to emails, Slack, and other written communication within 24 hours
- Be professional in all public, social media, and written communications
- Other duties as assigned or proposed by intern
Requirements
- Must be US citizen or permanent resident status. We regret not being able to hire those with other statuses.
- Must be current college student or above
- Ability to commit to at least 8 months minimum with 6-10 hours minimum of ASA work per week
- Basic networking skills and command of conversational skills for interaction with clients and teammates from remote
- Basic sales skills or ability to learn quickly
- Experience with Google Docs, Sheets, and other Google productivity software
- Be organized with attention to detail
- Self-driven with the ability to work both independently and as a team member
- Preferred: having any prior internship experience(s) or similar part-time job(s)
