We are partnering with a leading offshore law firm to hire a Billing Coordinator for their Hong Kong office. This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate, timely billing across key client groups. The ideal candidate will bring strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to coordination.

Responsibilities:

• Review pre-bills for accuracy, consistency, and formatting before lawyer approval
• Liaise with lawyers, paralegals, and accounts to ensure timely billing
• Verify that invoices and bill breakdowns follow pre-bill instructions
• Ensure all time, fixed fees, and disbursements are accurately captured
• Check cover letters for correctness, including invoice numbers, amounts, and addressees
• Assist fee‑earners in responding to client billing enquiries
• Ensure client-specific billing requirements (e.g., discount rates, invoice splitting) are met
• Coordinate billing for designated client groups

Requirements:

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Fluent in English and Chinese
• Cheerful, can‑do attitude with client‑service mindset
• Prior client‑facing experience
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Skilled at prioritising and multitasking in a fast-paced environment
