Position Overview
The Association Coordinator supports the daily operations, programs, and member services of a statewide professional association. Working closely with the Executive Director, this role helps coordinate certification programs, manage member engagement, assist with events, and support board and committee activities. This position is ideal for a highly organized professional who enjoys managing multiple projects and interacting with members and industry partners.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate logistics for certification exams and credentialing programs
Manage registrations, participant records, and exam materials
Assist with planning and execution of association meetings, conferences, and educational programs
Manage event registrations and attendee communications through the association event platform
Support sponsorship logistics and event communications
Maintain membership records and assist with membership renewals and member inquiries
Schedule social media posts, assist with event-related communications and the monthly newsletter
Provide administrative support including answering calls, maintaining records, and supporting office operations
Assist with board and committee meeting preparation, agendas, and minutes
Other duties as assigned
Work Environment
This position is based in the Oklahoma City office and works closely with association leadership and members. Because the organization operates with a small team, the Coordinator must be comfortable working independently. There is potential for this to be a hybrid position, still requiring 3 days a week in the office or more when prepping for events. Occasional evening or weekend work is required for events.

Professional, customer service–focused mindset
Technical Requirements
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (or similar tools)
Ability to learn and use association management systems (e.g., GrowthZone)
Experience with social media scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite) is a plus
Additional Requirements
Ability to work in-office in Oklahoma City
Willingness to occasionally work evenings or weekends for events
